Classes are usually open classes, meaning all levels welcome, unless otherwise stated. You should wear comfortable clothing. It is also recommended that you avoid eating at least 2 hours before class.
Even in a group class, students may be given different adaptations. This not only accommodates the needs of beginners and those with injuries, it also allows the more experienced students to go deeper.
Mediatation classes: use meditation music and breathing techniques from OmofGong albums.
Discover Yoga / Healthy Back
Class for beginning students. Stabilize, strengthen and maintain a healthy back through gentle therapeutic adaptations of postures. This class also welcomes pre-natal.
Appropriate for all levels: breath, movement, relaxation, adapted for all.
Intermediate / Advanced
Deepen your practice by exploring advanced postures and pranayama (breathing techniques). Tools such as sound and chanting may be used. We also use recent music to meditate and relax with very slow and relaxed breathing that improve mindfulness and self-control.
45 minute open class relieves stress and tension in back, neck and shoulders. Return to work feeling relaxed and refreshed.
Conscious Self Care
Join a group of proactive, fun, inquisitive, overwhelmed women who are ready to learn how, or upgrade their skills, to nurture themselves. Come to the weekly sessions to boost your enthusiasm and willingness to take premium care of your magnificent self. Learn more about you and gain the tools that will be effective and lasting. Mindful meditation is a part of our programs. Sharron Phillips is the facilitator.
Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement
Students are guided through a series of easy, gently sequences that bring awareness to small movements. Ideal for any age group or any level of physical ability or disability. Monday evening class - ongoing.
A vigorous class flowing from one posture to the next based on Ashtanga. Int/advanced students. Strengthening, energizing and developmental.
